ResearchSpace implements belief and argument using CRMInf – the argumentation extension of the CIDOC CRM.
All statements in the system are potentially beliefs assigned to the author and time stamped. This means that different vantage points or perspectives using different empirical evidence can be represented, compared, deprecated, reconciled and progressed by the community.

  • Create textual snippets and PDF clippings, automatically converted into FRBR entities – a CICOC-CRM conceptual framework for bibliographic sources.
  • Embed snippets and clippings as citations into other tools.
  • Conduce visual literature reviews or create arguments using the sources derived from PDF documents combined with other materials.

Entity Editor and Authority manager

A new set of authoring templates to manage entity, authority and vocabulary. It will allow new users to quickly establish an initial knowledge base, integrated with semantic search and other tools in the system.
